Project Description +
Our brief was to modernise the layout and materiality of a tired and outdated bathroom for a young professional.
We used three key materials; polished plaster, oak faced birch ply and fair faced concrete.
The introduction of bespoke cabinetry and a glass shower cubicle made best use of the compact space.
A large mirrored wall cabinet was built to match the proportions of the window which gives the effect of doubling natural light when closed. An additional vanity mirror on the inside of the door makes clever use of its position allowing full access to the internal shelves during use.
The combination of joinery and planning helped us to make use of every inch of the available space.
