Project Description +

After integrating a small external storage room into the main body of the flat, this client came to us to help them inhabit the resultant small and quite awkward space.

With a long list of requirements for the function of this small room we set about designing a series of interlocking vertical and horizontal elements that could offer a variety of different functional surfaces and storage solutions.

We came up with this predominantly oak arrangement of a work top, desk, shelves and utility cupboard. The room is now used as a storage room, cloak room, utility room, library / reading room and, with the inclusion of a small writing desk, an office.
